Once you've finished your assignment, submit your work directly within Cadmus.
When you’re ready to submit your assignment, click Submit in the top-right corner. This will take you to the Preview page, where you can review your submission one last time. To confirm your submission, accept the submission declaration and click the final Submit button in the bottom-right corner.
You’ll now be on the Final Submission page, where you will see confirmation of your submission. We’ll also email you a submission receipt along with a PDF copy of your work to your student email.
If your teacher has enabled Turnitin similarity to be seen on submission, you’ll be able to view your similarity score from the Final Submission page. Clicking on View similarity report will open up Turnitin Feedback Studio where you can view your work and review the similarity report. Learn more about Turnitin Similarity Reports.
NOTE: Your similarity score won’t always appear straight away — it might take up to a few hours for your work to be processed by Turnitin.
If you submit before the due date, you can still continue to revise and edit your work. Click Continue editing in the top-right corner to be taken back to your work.
Your last submission remains submitted, and you’ll see a copy of it in the Final tab that appears next to the Notes. You’ll also notice that the Submit button is replaced by a Resubmit button. Once you’ve made changes to your work and are ready to resubmit, click Resubmit in the top-right corner to replace your last submission with the updated version of your work.
You’ll be able to resubmit your work as many times as you like up until the due date. If your teacher has enabled similarity information to be seen on submission, you’ll see an updated similarity score when you resubmit. Keep in mind that after three resubmissions, Turnitin will take 24 hours to return your similarity score.
Once the due date has passed, you’ll still be able to submit your assignment late. After submitting late you’ll no longer be able to edit your work or resubmit.
If you submit your work before the due date and then choose to continue editing, you’ll still be able to submit your updated work after the due date. It’s important to realise that this will overwrite your previous submission and be marked as late — which might mean you’ll face a penalty during marking.
A good way to think about this is that if you’re editing your work (i.e. not on the Final Submission page) when the due date passes, submitting your work after this will mean it gets marked as late — regardless of if you’re resubmitting or submitting for the first time.
NOTE: To avoid any late submission penalties, make sure your Cadmus Assignment is submitted by the due date. Cadmus doesn’t submit your work automatically once the due date passes.
