“All grade boundaries have increased. 11% of students received high distinctions; an increase from 1% last year. The assessment hasn’t been made easier, it just feels like our students are finally able to reach their full potential.“

When Charles Sturt University (CSU) embarked on a HEPPP retention project to improve student success in first-year units, their goal was to implement a multi-faceted solution. Cadmus' end-to-end assessment capabilities brought together best practice assessment design, point-of-need support, and assessment learning journey analytics into one platform. With greater scaffolding, integrated support, and more feedback opportunities, stand out results were seen across all units. Feedback from staff highlighted that the ability to unpack student learning journeys into guided steps was a 'game changer'. This was invaluable for CSU's diverse student cohort, which includes regional and remote learners, as well as students from low-SES and Indigenous backgrounds.
